The refund process depends on how you purchased your subscription. See sections below for details specific to each payment channel.
Monthly plans come with a 3-day free trial and yearly plans come with a 7-day free trial. During the trial period, you have full access to all premium features. You can cancel at any time during the trial and you will not be charged.
We recommend trying our free tier first to ensure Sentino meets your needs before starting a trial or subscription.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. To ensure your cancellation is processed before the next billing cycle, please cancel at least 48 hours before the end of your current billing period.
When you cancel:
When you initiate cancellation from within the app, you may be presented with alternative options — such as a one-time retention discount — before your cancellation is finalized. Choosing an alternative is entirely optional; you can always proceed with the cancellation.
EU, EEA & UK consumers — statutory right of withdrawal: If you are a consumer based in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, applicable consumer law gives you the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the transaction and receive a full refund of the charges paid. This right is not discretionary and applies regardless of whether you have used the Service, unless you have given express prior consent and acknowledgement at checkout to begin immediate performance and to lose your right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive (or the equivalent provision under UK law). To exercise this right, contact us at the support email below within the 14-day window.
Discretionary global refund window: In addition to the statutory right above, and regardless of your jurisdiction, you may request a refund within 14 daysfrom the date your subscription was last renewed. Sentino issues discretionary refunds through Polar's order tools; requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Polar's independent discretion:As merchant of record, Polar reserves the right to issue a refund within 60 days of purchase at its own discretion — for example, to prevent or resolve a chargeback — consistent with Polar's Checkout Buyer Terms.
Important: Discretionary refund requests made more than 60 days after the transaction date will not be processed. This 60-day cap does not limit any statutory rights you may have.

Note: forgetting to cancel before a renewal does not by itself disqualify you from a refund — accidental renewal charges remain eligible under section 5 if reported within 14 days.
Switching between Monthly and Yearly plans: when you switch plans from the pricing page, the change is processed by Polar. Any prorated charges, account credits, or partial refunds resulting from the switch are calculated and issued by Polar according to its standard rules. Sentino does not compute proration directly.
Coupons and promotional discounts: if you applied a coupon or promotional code at checkout, any refund will be calculated against the amount you actually paid (the discounted total), not the list price of the plan.
For web purchases, you have two options:
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2-3 business days.
If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refunds are managed by Apple or Google respectively, not by Sentino or Polar.
Refund eligibility and processing for app store purchases are subject to Apple's and Google's respective refund policies. Sentino cannot process refunds for purchases made through these stores. If you need assistance, contact us at support@sentino.app and we will do our best to help.

For web purchases, Polar is the seller of record and handles all billing disputes. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please email support@sentino.app or use the “Manage billing” link on your account page to access your Polar billing portal beforeinitiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. In most cases we can resolve the issue faster and without involving your card network. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting support may be defended by Polar with transaction evidence as set out in Polar's Checkout Buyer Terms.
We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Existing subscriptions will be honored under the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
