All payments for Sentino subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. This means Paddle handles all billing, payments, and refunds on our behalf. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms.
2. Free Trial
All paid subscriptions come with a 7-day free trial. During the trial period, you have full access to all premium features. You can cancel at any time during the trial and you will not be charged.
We recommend trying our free tier first to ensure Sentino meets your needs before starting a trial or subscription.
3. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. To ensure your cancellation is processed before the next billing cycle, please cancel at least 48 hours before the end of your current billing period.
When you cancel:
You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period
Your subscription will not renew at the end of the period
You will be downgraded to the free tier after your subscription expires
Your dictionary and data will be preserved
There are no refunds for unused portions of subscription periods
4. Refund Policy
In accordance with Paddle's buyer terms, you may request a refund within 14 days from the date your subscription was last renewed. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are provided at the discretion of Paddle and Sentino.
Important: Refund requests made more than 60 days after the transaction date will not be processed.
5. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
Within 14 days of payment: If you are not satisfied with the service after your trial converts to a paid subscription, you may request a refund within 14 days of the charge.
Technical issues: If you experience significant technical problems that prevent you from using the service and we are unable to resolve them.
Accidental charges: If you were charged accidentally (e.g., forgot to cancel during trial or before renewal).
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not provided for:
Requests made more than 14 days after the most recent payment
Requests made more than 60 days after any transaction
Unused portions of subscription periods (no prorated refunds)
Failure to cancel at least 48 hours before renewal
Change of mind after extended use of the service
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, you have two options:
Via Paddle: Visit paddle.net and use the Order Support feature to request a refund directly.
Via Sentino: Contact us at support@sentino.app with your account email address, the reason for your refund request, and any relevant transaction details.
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2-3 business days.
8. Refund Processing
Once a refund is approved:
Refunds are processed by Paddle
The refund will be credited to your original payment method
Processing time is typically 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer
Your premium access will be revoked once the refund is processed
9. Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions:
The same 14-day refund window applies from the date of payment
After 14 days, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
Partial or prorated refunds are not guaranteed and are at Paddle's discretion
10. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Existing subscriptions will be honored under the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
